Of six-lobed form, the bulbous vase rising to waisted neck, the body enamelled with taotie mask on each lobe all reserved on turquoise-tone ground, the neck decorated with a band of leave lappet, the circular cover with five apertures as flower receptacle, the base enamelled with lotus floral scrolls. Early Qing Dynasty period.

此花插做海棠狀，蓮蓬口狀插口，縮頸，圓鼓腹、平直型束腰，圈足。口沿以藍色琺瑯為地掐絲螭龍紋，縮頸內飾以蕉葉紋，腹部通體以黃、綠、紅、白色琺瑯掐絲變體饕餮紋。饕餮紋是一種將獸面圖案化的紋飾，故也稱獸面紋，饕餮本是傳說中的貪食惡獸。最早把青銅器上的獸面定名為饕餮紋的是宋代的《宣和博古圖》，此後歷代皆沿用這一名稱。其特點是以鼻樑為中線，作對稱形，寬鼻圓眼，橫眉裂口，形象詭異神秘。商至西周的各類青銅器常以饕餮為主紋，地紋則配雲雷紋。此銅胎掐絲琺瑯饕餮紋花插造型端莊，線條流暢，釉色艷麗，文飾繁縟，鎏金厚實，為清中期琺瑯工藝的代表之作。
