The sides of the vessel are cast with vertical ribbing, featuring an upper band adorned with dragon pairs at the center of each side interrupted by high-relief animal masks. The splayed foot is decorated with a band of kui dragons. The loop handles are adorned with horned feline masks and end in a vertical tab cast with stylized dragons. West Zhou Dynasty period. Accompanied by a Japanese wooden box with a written label.
