In three sections, the top domed cover with a lotus bud finial, above a straight neck flanked by six 'lotus' handles suspended with rings rising from reticulated dome shaped cover, the associated bowl finely carved with floral scrolls in relief, all supported on six short feet, the stone of even white tone. Qing Dynasty Qianlong/Jiaqing period.

熏爐為富貴人家重要陳設，通常置於宮殿內用作燒灰取暖或燃點檀香，傳至後世融入更加豐富的裝飾因素，不僅愈加美觀，也逐漸跳出實用器之範疇，兼具觀賞性。本器青白玉製成，玉質潤色晶瑩，瑩潤細膩，包漿純熟。呈圓形，板沿口，分爐頂，爐蓋及爐身上下三部分，蓋、爐子母口內扣相合。蓋頂凸出一圓形蓋鈕，雕飾荷花型，蓋面上部分淺浮雕飾“連珠菱形紋”，中間銜環裝飾，下部為鏤雕“纏枝花卉紋”。爐身口沿鏤雕“纏枝花卉紋”，腹部滿雕“纏枝西番蓮紋”，帶六獸足。整器型古樸厚重，琢磨精美，精工細琢，設計精巧，採用圓雕，鏤雕，淺浮雕多種技法雕琢而成，利用不同的花卉紋來裝飾，枝葉交錯，極具立體效果，為案頭陳設佳品。來源: 波士頓私人收藏
