Finely carved with a recumbent buffalo, the cover on its back further carved with a boy, the stone is of smooth white tone with russet inclusions.

此水盂選用和田白玉為材，採用圓雕、浮雕工藝，雕琢一瑞牛，長角後盤，伸頭仰望，四肢俯臥，背上開槽，內部中空，鈕巧雕童子仰天狀，在牛背上一副幽然自得的景象。玉質細膩溫潤，表面略帶皮色，增加了許多韻味，值得收藏。
