Qing Dynasty period. Of barrel shape with straight sides slightly swelling around the middle, flanked by a pair of moulded animal mask handles securing mock rings, the body painted with band of archaistic stylized kui dragon in gilt, all set between bands at the top and bottom containing a repeated heart-shaped pattern. The underside bears a six character Qianlong mark.

鼓墩又名“繡墩”，“坐墩”。鼓墩造型秀美端莊，無墩面，弧腹中空，上下各有凸起鼓釘一周，雙獅銜環耳，細節處見精巧。通體施粉青釉，釉色沉靜滋潤，青翠盈潤，美不勝收，上繪金彩輝煌奪目，淡雅之底色結合鮮明張揚之金色，使得整器清爽而不乏雍容，淡雅而更顯高貴。口沿上方描金繪“迴紋”一周，器身上下皆描金繪“如意云紋”，器身描金繪相對式“夔龍紋”，構圖清晰，紋飾整齊規矩，雕塑雙獅耳銜環，獅子威猛又憨態可掬，活環高突，整體逼真生動。 “大清乾隆年制”款識。
