The standing figure wearing loose-fitting robes tied at the waist with long tassel belt, left arm raised and holding a spray of lily, face with wrinkled features and eyes downcast, with bald head and elongated earlobes, the hems of his robe and swarm of auspicious bats finely carved in low relief. Qing Dynasty Qianlong period.

明高濂在《遵生八箋·燕閒清賞》中就論道：“玉以黃玉為上，羊脂次之”。整器以珍貴黃玉雕製而成，玉質溫潤如脂，瑩潔細膩，色澤均勻濃鬱。迦葉衣紋自然流暢，手持枝葉，顴骨突出，面頰凹陷，雙耳垂肩。眉毛，眼角、頸部及胸部肋骨根根的刻畫上，可謂匠心獨運，充分展示了古代匠師塑造人物的卓越技巧。類似玉雕羅漢立像，可參考故宮博物院藏青玉羅漢（圖一），以及紐約大都會博物館藏碧玉羅漢（圖二） 來源：紐約私人藏家舊藏
