The vase is carved to each side with a central roundel enclosing a stylized shou character flanked by two wan symbols and further surrounded by four Buddhist Emblems on both front and reverse, above mountains and the sides carved with flowers in shall relief.The openwork handles are carved in the form of elephant heads, fitted with domed cover surmounted with a seated dragon finial. Mid-Qing Dynasty period.
Provenance: Private collection, Vancouver, Canada 玉質純淨,細膩晶瑩,溫潤而通透,形制規整,素雅秀美。呈扁圓形,長頸,兩側飾對稱啣環像耳,二層台式圈足,蓋鈕飾龍紋,子母口緊密相合,蓋與口沿裝飾一週迴紋。器身飾“壽字紋” “卐字紋”“靈芝雲紋”“蕉葉紋”,工整華美,古意盎然。此瓶為陳設用器,優雅端莊,皇家氣韻十足。 來源:加拿大溫哥華私人藏家舊藏
