Well-modeled, standing foursquare on a flat base, the head slightly lowered and turned leftward with crisply modeled features including bulging eyes, open mouth, flared nostrils, strapped in a bridle with green, blue and amber floret trappings on the forehead, nose and flanking the jaw continuing around the neck and resting on the rump, finished with a pleated blue painted saddle resting on a mottled green, blue and amber glaze saddle blanket on the back. Tang Dynasty period.
