鳥食罐為明宣德時期景德鎮燒製的種類最豐富，有鉢式、瓜式、橫向竹節式、筒式、罐式、水盂式等。各式鳥食罐的一側均有固定用的環狀系。本品呈鉢形，體型較小，設計頗為巧妙，可供穿系。釉色滋潤，部正面橫寫青花單行「大明宣德年制」六字楷書款。
