The globular lower body rising circular foot to a smaller upper globular section with short narrow neck, brightly painted around the exterior in rich cobalt-blue tones with birds and butterflies in garden landscape with various trees including pine tree, bamboo, peonies, the upper section with similar scene, central section and neck with ruyi head decoration, the base underglazed. Ming Dynasty period.

整體呈雙節葫蘆狀，造型端莊，胎質細膩，胎體厚重，此件器物青花髮色漂亮、鮮艷。上下部均繪草木花鳥圖，畫工繁密有致，畫片精緻。葫蘆諧音“福祿”，且器形象“吉”字，故又稱“大吉瓶”，寓意大吉大利。此瓶器形較大，頗為難得。 張先生舊藏
