Of double gourd form, the lower bulb is modelled in hexagonal lobed form, finely painted with coiled dragon amongst clouds in each panel, the upper bulb of globular form, painted with cranes in flight above crashing waves, all reserved on turquoise green ground, between bands of ruyi lappet and overlapping stiff lappets, the base inscribed with six character reign mark. Ming Dynasty period.
