Of sturdily potted hexagonal section, the body raised form a splayed foot and rising to a waisted neck flanked by a pair of tubular handles, covered overall in a greenish-grey glaze with two types of crackles, one dark and thick, the other thin and light yellow, the footring with a dark brown slip, the base inscribed with the six-character QIANLONG seal mark in underglaze-blue. Qing Dynasty Qianlong period.

清代雍正，乾隆皇帝酷愛宋瓷典雅含蓄之美，御窯廠因此研制出各種仿宋代釉色，借鑒青銅器、宋瓷造型，制作多種形美色佳之單色釉瓷品，充作宮中陳設。此器屬乾隆朝景德鎮上乘官作之典範，時匠精湛瓷藝之代表。雍、乾兩朝，單色瓷品多仿古器。本瓶如是，意取上古青銅壺形，此類形制為官窰藝匠首創。細觀本品，線條秀美流暢，起弦紋，莊重雅觀，釉色乳白如玉，淡雅雋永，鐵線開片渾然天成，寧靜潤潔。可參考一尊六角細口花瓶，形制相類，施仿官釉，見《支那朝鮮古美術展觀》，山中商會，大阪，1934年，圖版608，及香港蘇富比2014年10月拍品號3601。
