Of compressed globular form, the body is finely carved overall with archaistic geometric pattern, encircled with a band of ruyi-shaped motif above, the rim further carved with a band of key-fret pattern, the sides flanked by two curved handles, fitted with a circular reticulated wooden cover with archaistic pattern and surmounted with an archaic white jade recumbent beast finial, all supported on three curved beast-head legs, upon a circular stand with lotus-petal motif and key-fret bands. Qing Dynasty period.
