Of circular sectioned, this carved jade brush washer is impressively carved in the form of bundled bamboo stalks. The body is flanked by two leafy bamboo-shaped handles and raised from eight circular bamboo trunk feet. The feet and body are bordered by a circular band of nipple motif. The piece is supported by a huanghuali stand with stylized cloud motif from republic period. Ming Dynasty period.
