The body of the celadon jade teapot is finely carved in medium relief with dragon designs within a ovoid frame. The handle is added with intricate openwork decorations and clusters foliage carvings in darker tone. Similarly the sprout is linked with openwork decorations with a ring design. The domed cover has a chilong-formed finial and connected to the handle with a loose chain. The body is of celadon tone. The base and handle decorations are russet tone, with slight russet inclusions in finial.
