Of deep U-shaped body, this vessel is supported by three triangular blade splayed feet. Its body is cast in low relief of broad band leiwen pattern encircling the body. Two taotie masks are cast on the body with one centered on the flange and the other beneath the c-shaped handle. A pair of conical-shaped posts rises from the cup rim. The bronze vessel includes areas of malachite encrustation. Shang Dynasty Period.
