Of compressed melon form, the body with four naturalistic sections, two sections incised with calligraphy and painting, other two sections attached with high rectangular arching bamboo-like handle, complete with spout and finial designed in the form of bamboo sections. The lid also with four sections, matching perfectly with the body, with a few bamboo leaves as decoration near bamboo bridge finial. Two character "Yungen" mark beneath the lid.

瓜棱竹段提樑壺 壺身飾以四棱，二棱刻以詩文，另二棱飾以竹段提樑，竹段直流咀。壺蓋亦是四棱，竹段橋式壺鈕，並加飾數片竹葉，以為點綴。
