Of compressed cylindrical form depicting bamboo sections, the teapot’s thick spout, handle, and twisted finial also in smaller bamboo section shapes, the lid decorated with a few bamboo leaves. Two character mark "Mao Dan" beneath the lid. Mao Dan, a member of the Shao family, probably made this teapot during late Qing Dynasty period.

此壺胎泥細膩，三彎流竹段型流口，把手似以竹段，蓋鈕亦飾以竹段及竹葉。茂旦為邵氏家族成員。此壺應為清末時期製作。
