The rich caramel-colored aloeswood is naturalistically carved in high relief as a gnarled and twisting stem of lingzhi fungus, with large curled fungus forming the head at one end and various smaller fungus formations at the back. The wood is of characteristic aloeswood aroma. Qing Dynasty period.
