The flattened ovoid body rising from a splayed foot to a waisted neck, flanked by a pair of elephant-head handles issuing hoops suspending loose rings, the front and back worked in low relief each depicting a mythical Taotie beast mask, all below a band of upright plantain leaves, the domed cover surmounted by a finial, hardwood stand. Qing Dynasty period.
