Chinese. The compressed globular censer with mythical beast handles suspending loose rings, raised on three lion-mask and paw supports, the domed cover surmounted by a pierced finial in the form of coiled dragon, further attached to linked chains suspending the censer on a wood frame and stand. The stone is of mottled icy-green and white color with good translucency. Qing Dynasty period, 19th century.
