The steep sides expanding from a narrow base and incurving slightly at the mouth, all under an unctuous light blue glaze transmuting to pale lavender and beige tones at the rim, the interior with a single crimson-tinged purple splash, the footring unglazed revealing the burnt orange body. Northern Song/Jin Dynasty period.
