Chinese. Of elegant waisted form, the square top finely decorated with lotus bloom surrounded by dense lotus scrolls reserved on ellow ground, surrounded by band of archaistic mythial beast masks, the apron decorated with 'taotie' masks, all supported on cabriole legs terminating in scroll feet, all supported on an integral stand. Qing Dynasty period.

香幾成對保存完好，呈四方型，三彎腿，下附方托泥。整體為掐絲琺瑯製作而成，掐絲琺 瑯，又名“景泰藍”，其做法是以細而薄的銅絲掐成各種圖案，粘於銅胎之上，再根據圖案 設計要求填充各色琺瑯釉料，入窯烘燒，重複多次，待器表覆蓋琺瑯釉至適當厚度，再經打磨、鍍金而成。由於其在明代景泰年間獲得了史無前例的發展，又一般多外飾藍色釉料，故 稱景泰藍。器身繪“纏枝花卉紋”“獸面紋”“錦地紋”“獅面紋”“蓮瓣紋”，紋飾繁複，層次分明，主題突出，繁簡有致，美觀而又寓意美好，佈局錯落有致，富有層次感，令人賞心悅目。 來源: 利弗賽德古董行, 亞歷山大市, 弗吉尼亞州, 1990年以前
