Of tapering cylindrical form, gently curving at its upper end towards a hemispherical knob, the lower end with a rounded tip, the shaft finely carved with a sinuous chilong and worked with an inscription reading zi gang. Qing Dynasty period.

此簪細膩溫潤，光氣十足，局部帶有褐黃色沁色。簪鈕盤曲螭龍，簪身雕飾「螭龍紋」，曲身卷尾，身姿婉轉，線條流暢，構圖繁而不褥，琢工細膩入微，簪身陽文書「子岡」二字。（陸子岡：明嘉靖、萬曆年間人，明末最爲著名的琢玉巨匠。）崇禎十五年刊《太倉州志》記載：「五十年前州人有陸子剛者，用刀雕刻，遂擅絕今。所遺玉簪，價一枝值五、六十金」。（參閱香港蘇富比拍賣有限公司2016 年12 月拍賣會五德冰清——沐文堂藏中國玉雕0118 號拍品，成交價：HKD ：600000）
