以白玉為料，雕佛祖渡海，溫婉細潤，佛頂有肉髻，其色青鉗，額廣平正，眉間毫相，法相殊勝，清靜莊嚴。左掌壓右掌，仰置足上肚臍前，結禪定印，全跏趺坐於蓮花座上，生禪定像。頸掛瓔珞，身披天衣，背攏蓮瓣形背光。蓮座下雕奔騰海水，整件器物以圓雕技法琢刻而成，玉料晶瑩潤澤，質地勻淨，工藝精湛，細碾精琢，線條遒勁，剛柔相濟，可見治玉藝師超凡的技藝，佛像神態安詳，莊重大氣，實屬珍品。
