Chinese. The brush pot is decorated with scene from the Latter Ode to the Red Cliff with the scholars on the river in the moonlight. The other side inscribed with an excerpt from the text, entitled and dated to Kangxi reign with one seal mark. The center of the base inscribed with four character Wen Zhang Shan Dou. Qing Dynasty period.
