Chinese. Of asymmetrical chevron form with a squared end angled to the longer tapered side, finely incised on front and back with a pair of ferocious dragons chasing flaming pearl, all supported on reticulated zitan wood stands. Qing Dynasty period.

磬是古代重要的禮樂器，乾隆時期用於重要典禮中演奏，聲音清脆，傳聲較遠。本器青白玉製成，玉質細膩溫潤，瑩潤光潔，光氣十足。玉磬雙面均陰刻“龍紋”“祥雲”“寶珠”，雕工精湛，細緻入微，部刻畫細緻，雙目平視前方，神態威猛張揚，身形遒勁，鱗片齊整，張牙舞爪，穿梭於祥雲之中，追戲寶珠，大有氣奪千里之勢，神形俱佳，栩栩如生。整體雕琢拋光一絲不苟，平面打磨平滑如鏡。側面陰刻“乾隆二十九年制”“大呂”款識。字跡清晰嚴謹，力道十足。配卷雲紋木座，成對保存完好。 （參閱2014年佳士得香港秋季拍賣會寓覺於物專場2941 號拍品成交價：HKD 6040000）
