Chinese. Carved in the form of the buddhist deity Guanyin, the beautiful Immortal wearing long voluminous robes, jewellery and ornate head fittings in her high chignon, left hand holding the scarf. Late Qing Dynasty period.

此器採用碩大和田玉圓雕而成，玉質細膩而溫潤，光亮含蓄，充滿靈韻之氣。造型立體大氣，層次清晰鮮明。觀音法相慈祥，高束髮，面容飽滿，眉如彎月，雙目細長下視，鼻樑尖挺，唇線分明，長裙飄逸，胸前飾瓔珞，腰間以絲帶系束打結垂下。左手施“說法印”，右手持絲帶，以教化眾生，解救苦難。整體造型端莊，面帶微笑，神情祥和，全身比例均勻，手腳寫實細膩，衣紋起伏流走自然顯質感。造像簡潔明快，面相清秀，體態文靜，層次分明，刀法線條含蓄剛勁，雕琢精湛，輪廓、衣褶、手勢的每一刀線條在流暢中不失法度，在飄逸中更顯功力。整器用料頗奢，雍容貴氣，十分精彩，有濃鬱的宮廷氣息。來源: 洛杉磯私人藏家收藏
