器由瓶和座托兩部分組成。其中瓶為瓷質，立身。盤口，壯頸，渾肩深腹，腹下斂收，下承淺圈足。外壁以墨彩繪荷塘蘆雁通景圖，燈籠瓶，顧名思義，就是因為形似燈籠而得名，燈籠瓶是雍正時期景德鎮官窯創燒，流行於清雍正、乾隆時期。
