Chinese. Carved in high relief against a pointed, petal-shaped halo with a central figure of Avalokitesvara on a lotus pedestal, dressed in long robes, wearing a diadem. Tang Dynasty period.

本品採用大理石製成，石質白淨無暇，質地堅硬細密。菩薩帶冠，面容清秀，彎月眉，杏眼，闊鼻，小嘴，左手施“說法印”，右手自然下垂，腰間繫帶。整體頭與身斷為三截，雙足以下佚失。整器身型挺拔，工藝嚴謹，風格洗練。來源: 洛杉磯私人藏家收藏
