Each plaque carved with two character Zhai Jie, flanked by pair of confronting phoenix heads to the top and bottom, fitted in Huangyangmu box inlaid to depict pair of sinuous chilong dragons. Qing Dynasty period.

齋戒牌創自清康雍年間，為清代皇帝及文武官員祭祀時掛於身上之祀牌，以期彼此觀瞻，起到簡束身心、竭誠致敬之效。玉牌形制小巧，以“海水鳳鳥紋”為地，正面雕琢陽文“齋戒”二字，以楷書為體，字形端正，大氣嚴謹。另一面以滿文書就，字形略長，滿文筆畫連貫，字體雕琢氣韻流暢，與背面楷書相互映襯，各具特色。玉質潔白無瑕，溫潤細膩，成對保存完好，配有原裝嵌百寶黃楊木盒，木盒嵌有雙龍，所嵌雙龍威猛、形態自然，為典型的清代宮廷藏品。
