Chinese. The orange ground finely worked on the front and back with nine five-clawed long dragons couched in gold-wrapped threads in pursuit of ‘flaming pearls’, amidst multi-colored cloud scrolls, with dark blue borders at the cuffs and collar decorated with striding dragons.

此袍形制為圓領、右衽大襟、馬蹄袖端、四開裾的通身式袍。袍身以明黃色綢為面料，領邊以石青色素綢為面料，黃色緞地袍面滿飾祥雲，前胸背後各一平金繡正面龍於五彩雲間，前後衣襟各兩條行龍龍身三挺九轉，騰挪有力，威武勇猛。通體點綴各色祥雲，形如靈芝，寓意吉祥。下幅為海水江崖，水浪波濤洶湧，之上點綴折枝花卉紋樣，象徵「江山永固」，「富貴長與八寶立水紋壽」。本品配色協調，暈色層次豐富，自然流暢，為傳世清代龍袍之佳作。
