Rising from a splayed foot to a waisted neck flaring at the rim, the body with a band of moulded ring, applied overall with a deep brown glaze simulating the metal.

醬色釉，簡稱「醬釉」，是以鐵為著色劑的高溫釉。釉色如柿黃色或芝麻醬色。醬色釉早在商代後期原始青瓷上即偶有出現，東漢時期開始流行，一直延續至明清。清代康熙、雍正、乾隆時期醬色釉面較前朝更為潤澤，閃爍金屬般的光澤，似紫金包鑲一般，亦被稱為紫金釉。收口，細頸，折肩，弧腹，撇足，頸腹及近足處分別凸起弦紋作裝飾。通體施醬釉，色沉而亮，觀之，釉彩肥厚，澤光瑩瑩，金屬質感頗強。“大清乾隆年制”款識。
