Qing Dynasty period. The vase is finely carved with a stylized archaistic taotie mask band around the body, the neck further carved in high relief with sinuous dragon around it, all supported on carved zitan stand.

以上等和田白玉製作而成，掏膛深勻，玉色潤白、質地細膩溫潤，略帶黃色皮色。器型 古樸大氣，直口，長頸，腹部渾圓下漸收，圈足。線條柔美，渾然大氣。立體圓雕，飛龍騰 於雲間，盤繞瓶頸追逐寶珠，顯現蒼勁矯捷的氣勢，龍紋雕琢精細，纖毫畢現。瓶身繪“饕 餮紋”，紋飾清晰對稱，底部繪“蕉葉紋”。整器製作技法精湛，精美絕倫，綜合運用浮雕、 透雕、淺陰刻等多種技法，佈局疏朗有致，結構考究，刻繪手法嫻熟，立體感強，極富裝飾效果，彰顯了玉匠卓越脫俗、深功博古的超凡功力。海水紋底座為上等小葉紫檀製成，形制 波濤洶湧，大浪翻捲，洶湧澎湃，氣勢磅礴，生動形象。整體選材、紋飾、雕工、意蘊，均 堪稱上乘之作，有濃厚的皇家御用器物樣式，象徵了至高無上的皇權。來源：德州達拉斯私人藏家收藏
