Qing Dynasty period. The white jade worked and reticulated in the form of a circular roundel enclosing the four characters chang yi zisun ('to benefit future generations forever') in the four cardinal directions, decorated with a pair of phoenix flanking the chang character, above a pair of mythical beasts flanking the yi character, the upper crest carved with a pair of confronting phoenix beneath a ruyi-cloud.

清代乾隆時期，內廷各處依皇帝所好注重仿古，借鑒和仿制古代工藝品的造型和紋飾，其中玉佩大部分是仿照漢代玉佩制作，並且加以變化，在裝飾、造型上較漢代玉佩更加覆雜精致。本品以上等和田玉雕成，玉質潔白細膩，溫雅純凈。片狀，呈圓形出廓，上部鏤雕雙夔龍，面面相對，頭頂雲紋。下部圓形鏤雕雙夔鳳紋及篆書“長宜子孫”四字。運用圓雕、鏤雕、透雕、線刻等技法雕制而成，做工精致，細膩潤澤，紋樣精美，具有典型宮廷造辦處風格，且有清代宮廷仿古繁縟奢華之風格，是工料完美的典範之作，彌足珍貴。“長宜子孫”寓意後世子孫都能過上美好安逸的生活，此類主題的佩玉在乾嘉兩朝宮廷玉器中有多種表現形式，應當為皇帝禦賜諸皇子皇孫之用。配紅木盒。
