Qing Dynasty period. Of ovoid form supported on a short splayed foot, rising to a waisted neck, the body carved with bands of archaistic scrolls and plantain leaves, the neck decorated with ruyi shaped bands.

壁瓶，為諸多瓶式的一種，以掛於壁面而名，又稱“轎瓶”、掛瓶。器型為常見花瓶、尊等豎部的一半，靠壁一面平坦有孔，以利於懸掛於墻壁上，做陳設之用，自古壁瓶多見瓷器、銅器，此件竹貼黃壁瓶甚是少見，且工藝精湛細膩，實屬難得。
