Of rectangular section carved in the form of an archaic bronze gu with raised flanges, the mid-section carved in low relief with a taotie mask, the flared neck and foot carved with upright leaves.

此花觚為和田玉大料為材整挖而成，整體呈四方形，仿青銅器造型。採用浮雕及圓雕工藝，兩側飾出戟紋，腹部飾飽滿的饕餮紋。紋飾繁褥，密而不亂，刻劃精湛，非一般工匠所為，應為皇家所用。整體造型古樸端莊，玉質溫潤，取材上乘，用料碩大。
