Of double gourd shape, the body inscribed in gilt with various forms of 'fu' , meaning auspicious, all within raised border of cloud pattern, the waisted neck tied with pair of carved yellow glazed sash, top carved with an auspicious bat, the panel reverse bearing two impressed square marks.

此件掛瓶葫蘆型，葫蘆因其蔓長籽多，故古人多以它寓意子孫滿堂、世代綿延，自唐以來因其諧音「福祿」，且形狀像吉字，寓意大吉大利。整體紋飾富麗，色彩炫目。頂部用褐彩描繪蝙蝠，器身主體仿雕漆裝飾工藝，邊框凸起刻飾“迴紋”，佈局嚴謹細緻，中心描金繪“萬壽紋”，字體各異，書寫工整，一絲不苟，金碧輝煌。肩部用檸檬黃彩點金裝飾飄帶，形像生動。底部用黑彩裝飾底座。底座刻“蓮瓣紋”，帶有如意足。黑彩與其它色彩對比，更能凸顯其它色彩的炫目艷麗之感。整器色彩分明，艷麗炫目，造型特殊，刻工刀法嫻熟， 紋飾精美，與雕漆無二，福祿壽，寓意美好，具有極強的裝飾性。背部刻“甄”“宗元”款識。 来源：洛杉磯私人藏家提供
