Qing Dynasty period. Each rectangular table screen is divided into seven rectangular compartments of different sizes, height, and arrangements and one drawer, all framed by gilt-painted border, the black-lacquered back panel gilt-painted with floral sprays of bamboo, chrysanthemum, and peony, with a small drawer on left side painted with stylized symmetrical floral scroll. The side further gilted with lotus floral scrolls, and the back decorated with similar motifs of flower sprays. The screen is set into a stand with panel of two confronting stylized dragon against flaming pearl, the shaped apron finely painted with bats amid auspicious clouds.
