Late Qing Dynasty period. Of rectangular section, the pear-shaped body rises from a truncated pyramidal foot to waisted neck, flanked by a pair of finely cast mythical-beast handles, the body is elaborately decorated with intricate stylized foliate scrolls and bands of chrysanthemum.
