Of circular section, the cover deeply carved through layers of alternating black and cinnabar-red lacquer with five swirling guri pommels each conjoined to ruyi shaped scrolls all laid out around a central point, the box carved with ruyi motifs, the interior and base covered with black lacquer.

香盒圓形，整髹朱漆並間以黑漆。通體雕刻如意雲頭紋，所雕紋飾構圖飽滿，髹漆肥厚，漆色紅潤，瑩亮溫潤。刀口斷層處朱漆層次分明，線條流暢委婉。
