Well-potted with rounded sides rising from short foot, the interior finely painted to depict at the center a writhing underglazed blue five-clawed frontal dragon against a ground of red glazed waves, surrounded with four scaly five clawed dragons chasing two flaming pearls, all enclosed within a double line border on the rim, the exterior decorated with similar wave design. The base painted with a double circle. Qing Dynasty period.

對於釉裡紅紋飾的燒成效果，乾隆皇帝曾主動提出明確的要求——務要花紋清真。據《唐英六十二號》記載：將古瓷樣式好者揀選幾種，亦燒造釉裡紅顏色。欽遵奴才看明釉色，祗領紙樣，恭捧到關，即遵旨揀選古瓷、畫樣內好者數種，一併交窯廠協造葆廣等敬謹燒造，並諭俱造釉裡紅顏色務要花紋清真，釉水肥潤，顏色鮮明。俟造得時奴才揀選送京恭呈禦覽。 」大盤廣口，淺弧壁，圈足，青花雙圈款識，體態渾厚大氣。繪飾海水龍紋，以青花繪龍紋，其雄碩遒勁，威儀橫貫，氣奪千里。釉裡紅繪海水紋，層次清晰，尤見浪濤動感強烈，所施釉裡紅發色妍麗，為極上品。整器雋秀典雅，胎釉精良瑩亮，紋飾層次豐富。此燒造工藝繁複，講究物理變化之妙，本品二色俱佳，難能可貴。 來源：洛杉磯私人藏家提供
