Modelled in the form of five peak mountain, carved on both sides with a Taoist immortal sitting upon a mythical sea beast 'Ao' emerging from turbulent ocean waves below, the base with apocryphal xuande mark. Early Qing Dynasty period.

筆架以五嶽山為形，文曲星獨佔鰲頭立海水江崖之上，寓意美好，有高中狀元之意。其形古拙大氣，銅質優良，包漿醇熟，底部“宣德年制”方款。
