Of bombé form, rising from splayed foot to a gently flaring rim flanked by loop handles emerging from the jaws of a horned beast, the sides crisply cast with a wide band of raised bosses against a lozenge ground, bordered on either side by ring-punched bands, all below four pairs of stylized dragons centered on a pair of animal masks below the rim, the foot with a band of confronted dragons. Western Zhou Dynasty period.

迄今所見最早的青銅簋出現於商代中期，其後青銅簋作為食器，一直流行至戰國時期。本件器物造型厚重，侈口，束頸，圓鼓腹，圈底，頸部為連珠紋，腹兩側有一對獸首半環形耳。腹部兩面各飾淺浮雕雲雷紋，額頂正中又增飾高浮雕小獸首，器身浮雕乳釘紋。整器鑄造精良，紋飾繁複，舒朗有度，是西周青銅簋中的珍品。 來源: 內華達州私人藏家提供
