取上等壽山石為材，石質細膩溫潤，凝練成凍，肌理細緻，綿密欲化。達摩高額肥鼻，雙目圓睜，鬍鬚及衣服褶皺線條流暢，手捧神獸，動感十足，自然灑脫，穩定莊重。整體刀工精湛，神態逼真，尤其在達摩的面部表情及衣服褶皺等細節的處理，極具功力，殊為難的。
