Of flattened globular form, well carved on each side with a frontal five-clawed dragon, its sinuous body wrapped around a 'flaming pearl', leaping amongst lotus scrolls and the eight auspicious motifs, the waisted neck adorned with stylised floral and foliate designs, flanked by a pair of dragon ring handles, the domed cover surmounted by a stepped rounded oval finial, the stone of an even white tone with natural inclusions. Qing Dynasty Qianlong period.

八吉祥，原為佛前供器，藏文稱之為「八吉祥相」，即由法輪、法螺、寶傘、華蓋、蓮花、寶罐、金魚、盤長等八種法物組成。其中法輪代表佛說大法圓轉，萬劫不息；法螺代表菩薩果妙音吉祥；寶傘代表張弛自如，曲覆眾生；華蓋代表遍覆三千，淨一切樂；蓮花代表出五濁世無所染；寶罐代表福智圓滿，具完無漏；金魚代表堅固活潑，能解壞劫；盤長代表回環貫徹，一切通明。因為八吉祥寓意吉祥，清帝亦篤信佛教，而使此紋飾成為深受宮廷喜愛的經典裝飾題材。此瓶以白玉琢成，玉質溫潤。器身呈扁圓形，瓶頸兩側鏤雕獸首銜活環為耳，獸首呈扁而寬狀，自眼部向外有勾雲飛出，兩眼之間頂出一獨角，造型誇張。瓶腹兩面於圓形開光內高浮雕盤龍戲珠圖案，所刻花葉繁茂，寶傘、盤長、法輪、法螺、華蓋、金魚、寶罐、蓮花八種吉祥寶物分托雙龍龍爪之中，寓有八吉祥護身之意。此瓶為重要宮廷陳設用器，整器紋飾雕刻龍騰雲湧，給人以氣勢磅礴之感，皇家氣韻十足，為清代宮廷玉器登峰造極之作。類似大小和器型之白玉瓶，可參考紐約大都會藏品。參考: 香港佳士得2011年11月30日 拍品號2971 成交價HKD 33,140,000 來源: 紐約重要私人藏家收藏
