自東晉之後，中國風格的佛像才逐漸發展出來，到了北魏，孝文帝推行漢化的政策也反映在佛像藝術上，北魏時期的石雕造像獨具莊嚴清秀的氣質。釋迦牟尼佛坐像石質優良，質地堅硬細密，局部施有紅彩。開臉端正莊嚴，慈憫喜悅，眉型立體，眼垂，鼻直挺，神態威儀。左手施與願印，右手施無畏印，雙腿疊伽於台座之上。身型挺拔。工藝嚴謹，風格洗練。但局部有殘。 來源: 洛杉磯資深私人藏家提供
