The jar with a tampered body rising from a flat base to an everted rim, the compressed globular body beautifully painted in blue with a scene of vases and flowers enclosed in a flower pattern, all below key-fret band and ruyi shaped pattern. Each side of the rhombus-shaped pillow decorated with flower branches issuing from rockwork within diaper borders, one end decorated with a quatrefoil opening surrounded by four detached flowers, the other end with a pierced four lobe flower motif surrounded by bats at each corner.
