Of rectangular form, the panel finely decorated with three magpies perching on plum blossom branches, to the right a magpie flying away. The upper side inscribed with imperial poem in running script dated to Qianlong reign, with three impressed marks, all reserved on turquoise ground and mounted on zitan frame further carved in relief with auspicious motif reserve on key-fret ground. Qing Dynasty period.

本件器物長方形，體型巨大，通體掐絲琺瑯裝飾，藍色琺瑯釉為地，掐絲“喜鵲登梅”場景，畫面中枝幹伸展，綴滿盛開的花朵和待放的蓓蕾，充分表達了梅花的俯、仰、側、臥、依、盼等形態和直立、曲屈、歪斜的姿勢，難怪古人認為“梅以形勢為第一”。喜鵲獨立枝頭，翹首回盼，又於空中飛舞。梅花盛開，清雅之景躍於眼簾。梅花開於冬春相交之際，喜鵲立於梅花枝上，寓意冬去春來，又寓意“喜上梅（楣）梢”，即有喜事臨門之意。有“小春說”詩文與主題相呼應。本掛屏實屬難能可貴的文人裝飾物。
