This standing Mahākāla shown wearing ornate robes. The face has three eyes, the opening mouth reveals two fangs. The earrings and tiara decorated with semi-precious gemstones. Ming Dynasty period.

大黑天是藏傳佛教密宗中重要的護法神，是專治疾病之神及財富之神。被認為是大日如來降魔時的忿怒相。此尊大黑天一面二臂三目，立姿。頭髮豎立，眉毛呈火焰狀，三目圓瞪，口露獠牙，樣貌威猛。身披五十鮮人首幔，項鏈、臂釧、足釧俱足。此尊造像使用紅銅鑄造，銅色十分醇厚，器身通體鎏金，金水厚重，保存完好，造像比例協調，生動傳神、威猛，工藝水平極佳，是早期造像中宗教意義與工藝美感的結合。
